defense vs offense

Are you a strategy game addict??




I have been a sucker for strategy games all my life... red alert.. starcraft...C&C etc etc...




And my winning formula has always been the same.




1) Amass wealth




2) Build defense




3) then ATTACK!!!




To an extent, I have followed this doctrine with everyday life.




Work, Save, Then pursue you dreams! Sadly, this formula hasn't worked out too well for me in real




life... somehow, Im either stuck in Work, or Save...




Then recently I have been playing this game on the iphone.









Clash Of The Clans.
















Its a strategy game where you battle with other people from all over the world.






And I have been discovering that my old wealth-defense-attack formula is not at all the best game plan.






What works here is build your storehouses (where you stack your money) then at the same time attack






other players for loot..






Money is faster and the progress is much better and the games is more enjoyable.






This totally breaks all the concepts I have built up in mind.






Somehow, i feel like God is telling me. Set-up your bank account. Open your Arms. Attack! and






pursue your dreams.
